
Smoked Salmon Pate French Toast
with Terrine de Saumon Fume - Smoked Salmon Terrine
Ingredients:
1 Smoked Salmon Pate, cut into 6 slices 1/4 cup flour
1 cup bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
Vegetable oil
Directions:
- Heat a pan over low flame.
- Dust slices of Smoked Salmon Pate with flour. Coat each side with the egg, then bread crumbs. Quickly sauté the slices in vegetable oil.
- Remove each slice and keep warm in oven at 200? F.
- Present Smoked Salmon Pate slices on individual plates with a bed of greens and serve with a light sauce, such as tomato coulis.
Delectable as a brunch or luncheon entrée, this dish is noted for its hearty salmon flavor, as well as its silken texture.
