Smoked Salmon Pate French Toast

with Terrine de Saumon Fume - Smoked Salmon Terrine

Ingredients:
1 Smoked Salmon Pate, cut into 6 slices
1/4 cup flour
1 cup bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
Vegetable oil
Directions:
  1. Heat a pan over low flame.
  2. Dust slices of Smoked Salmon Pate with flour. Coat each side with the egg, then bread crumbs. Quickly sauté the slices in vegetable oil.
  3. Remove each slice and keep warm in oven at 200? F.
  4. Present Smoked Salmon Pate slices on individual plates with a bed of greens and serve with a light sauce, such as tomato coulis.

Delectable as a brunch or luncheon entrée, this dish is noted for its hearty salmon flavor, as well as its silken texture.

Servings:
Adjust amount of ingredients to fit size of party.
